Meet: Thorpe Bay station, platform 1 side (cross footbridge if travelling from London). Finish: Leigh-on-Sea Station. Coastal walk, including Southend Pier, the longest pleasure pier in the world (cost £3). Lunch at Southend. Plenty of drop out points.
