This is a linear walk from Amersham tube station down the hill with attractive views over Old Amersham to a brief stop at the toilets in the Old Town car park. Then soulth towards Coleshill to join the Chiltern way to Chalfont St Giles for lunch where there are seats on the green and in the church yard, and a cafe to get hot drinks, pasties and cakes. After lunch we again follow the Chiltern Way through Shrubs Wood to Bullsland Lane to Chorleywood Met line station.

Anyone wishing to join the walk at Amersham old town pay car park (SU960973 / HP7 0UT) should send me an email and mobile number so that I can look out for them. Please wait outside the toilet at 10.45 and if you come by car you will need to take the tube back from Chorleywood to Amersham
