Overview

Linear Walk by bus from Lacock via the Wilts & Berks Canal at Pewsham Locks to Chippenham.

Then Bus 55 back to Swindon.

7 stiles, mainly flat, some mud.

15 minute refreshment break at start or end of walk.

Alternative "There and Back" walk from Lacock National Trust carpark (£5 to non-NT members), meeting the other ramblers at The George bus stop at 11:44, walk to Pewsham Locks and back to Lacock. 5 miles Leisurely, but unfortunately 7 stiles twice, still with some mud. 15 minutes refreshment break at the start or end of the walk.
