A beautiful walk through secluded Herefordshire countryside. We start at 9.30am from the George at Lingen where we make our way through ancient woodland which leads on to rolling hills with fabulous far reaching views.
We drop down into Kinsham where we will have coffee next to the secluded building of Kinsham Hall, once home to Lord Byron (it is said he wrote some of his best work here) and Florence Nightingale. After coffee we follow the path of the River Lugg before we turn to Limebrook where we can see the remains of Limebrook Priory, founded around 1189. We then pick up the woods again to return to Lingen.
Please note start time.
Nothing too strenuous and not many stiles.
