From the meeting point we will walk for a short distance along the Greensand Way then heading north towards Coxheath and Loose. We will then go through the Quarries and Marlpit to Weirton. At Weirton there will be an opportunity to visit the Buttercups Goat Sanctuary (subject to weather conditions/times). We will return back to Linton via the Greensand Way. Pub at end (The Bull Inn, Linton. Tel: 01622 743612 serves food etc.)
Terrain: Mostly well established footpaths in farm areas/countryside, some road walking, Greensand Way. Will be muddy in place if wet. Good footwear recommended.
Park and meet at car park (free) at Linton Church. Located on the A229 south-bound going down Linton Hill (500 yards after the crossroads controlled by traffic lights). The car park entrance is on the left just after the 30 mph sign. Nearest Post Code: ME174AW.
