We are the Vale of Glamorgan Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
We start by climbing up to the hillfort of Castell Dinas Bran and then follow Offa's Dyke Path east to Pontcysyllte Aqueduct. We walk across the Aqueduct and back underneath it to then follow the Canal towpath back to Llangollen.
The initial climb is steep but is fairly short. It's a popular tourist attraction so there are good footpaths and handrails. All climbing will be done in the first hour or so and then the rest of the walk is easy, especially the return back along the canal.
