A 6.5 to 7 mile circular walk from Llanymynech over a range of territory.
From Llanymynech the route will follow the line of the canal to Pant, then climb and cross the A483, heading steadily up hill to the western edge of Llanymynech Hill. It then turns South along Offa's Dyke Path back to the golf course and at the 14th tee heads down the hill on paths and lanes towards Carreghofa. Rejoining the Montgomery canal will bring us to the Vyrnwy aqueduct and return to Llanymynech via a good footpath over fields.
As usual, the paths are muddy in places. There are just 3 stiles.
Possibilities exist to shorten route to 4 miles or 6 miles if necessary.
All are welcome, but no dogs on the walk, please (except registered assistance dogs by arrangement).
