A walk to a picturesque lochan in the hills above Lochgoilhead and the foot of Beinn Bheula.

Follow a forestry road south from Lettermay towards Cormonachan and then northwest on a good track passing Creag Dhubh na Criche and Creag a’Chromain towards the Lochan. From the Lochan we contour north around Cruach nam Miseag just above the forest followed by a short descent across very rough old forestry workings to pick up a good path for our return to Lettermay.

Local Grade: B

Terrain: Good forestry and estate tracks for most of the route. Short pathless sections which may be boggy in places.
