Lode - on the southern edge of the Fens

Starting from the Shed pub at Lode the walk takes us through the village passing the Mill at Angelsey Abbey and onto Stow-cum-Quy Fen. We return along the banks of Quy Water with a view of the Abbey gardens on the far side of the river. As you'd expect this is a pretty flat walk but hopefully we will see some wildlife - a Sika deer has been known as well as water fowl.
