Overview

From Market Weighton the walk follows a disused rail track, then across fields with lovely open views and through the Londesborough Estate to the village, where there will be a picnic lunch stop.  Time will be allowed for walkers to enjoy optional tea and cakes in the Reading Rooms, explore the profusion of snowdrops in the grounds of the Old Hall and visit the Church with its heritage displays. The walk returns via the Wolds Way back through the Londesborough Estate to Goodmanham and along the Hudson Way disused rail track, eventually reaching Market Weighton.
