NLSH Ramblers is a really friendly group, whose members all share a love of walking and the countryside. You’ll always receive a warm welcome from us, whether you want to walk with us regularly or from time to time.
This walk takes us from the residential streets of Hurst Green into woodlands and along pleasant bridleways, past Oxted Mill, through Marden Valley and along the North Downs Way until we arrive in Merstham. There are some narrow and potentially muddy paths so boots and appropriate clothing are advisable. The finishing time is an estimate only and will be dependent on a number of factors, such as weather, the speed at which the group walks and the number of breaks taken. There are pubs near to Merstham Station for a drink after the walk.

Take the 09.20 train from London Victoria arriving at Hurst Green at 10.04. There are regular trains from Merstham to London Victoria and London Bridge.
We will finish at Merstham railway station where there are regular trains back to London Bridge.
