Meet at the entrance to Hayes & Harlington Station ready to start the walk at 10.30am. To get to Hayes & Harlington Station catch the 117 bus from either Staines Bus Station or Ashford War Memorial (beware road works and diversions) to Feltham Station/Victoria Road bus stop. Get off at this stop to catch the 90 bus at 09:55 or 10:06 to Hayes and Harlington Station. The alternative is to get the train from Staines at 09:38, Ashford 09:41 arriving Feltham at 09:48 then a short walk to the bus stop. The walk is mainly along the River Colne and the Grand Union Canal with diversions to Stockley Park and Little Britain Lake. This means that it is mainly flat. There are coffee stops and pubs available which involve short diversions. More details may be available later.
