Overview

 Ascend from station through Stanmore Country Park to the London Viewpoint with splendid  views south over West London. Follow London Loop via Aldenham Reservoir to Elstree joining into St Albans Way that follows the Watling Timberland Trail around Parkfields Open Space (stop for picnic lunch). Continue along trail across countryside to Shenley Park where we will have a break at the tearooms at 8.5mls. (opportunity to take bus 602 direct the 1.5mls down to Radlett for the station or walk along Radlett Lane to station). Full route continues on a loop of field paths of nearly 3 miles to Radlett.

Travel: Will require single ticket from Radlett(Thameslink) to Elstree & Borehamwood for freedom Pass holders or pay single back into London St Pancras International. There are buses from Radlett that link with Bushey, Watford (for overground) and Borehamwood.
