We start at Eden bridge between Kirkoswald and Lazonby and walk on field paths, tracks and quiet roads,  via the remains of Kirkoswald Castle and the farm of Old Parks to the village of Glassonby. Next we visit the interesting church at Addingham before continuing to Long Meg , the 3rd largest stone circle in England. The return is made via woodland and field paths alongside the river Eden.
