Overview

A long winter walk mainly through crop fields and country lanes South of the River Tees, visiting Stanwix,  the capital of the Brigantes from Peircebridge Roman fort.

 

Walkers must be equipped with headtorches and/or torches. This walk will finish after dark (on easy lanes)
