Overview

The walk heads first for the Earn at Ferryfield of Carpow, then, passing  the 'Old House', makes a steady climb via Broomfield to Lochmill Loch. From there it follows a forest road SW to Seven Gates before descending to Abernethy over Gattaway Hill.

Turn into Station Road at the pedestrian crossing with lights in the main road. Follow it R and L to pass under railway arch, then find car park behind tennis courts on L
