Starting along the river Slea we head out across open fields to the village of Ewerby. From there is an almost straight line walk to the ruins of Haverholme Priory. Then we follow the gently meandering River Slea though woodland and open fields back to Sleaford. If we have similar conditions to when this walk was checked, we have the chance of hearing skylarks singing overhead and the possibility of seeing a Kingfisher streak past as it hunts along the river Slea.
Please note some of the paths on this route can be muddy and very slippy, so walking poles are recommended. We will also be passing through some fields with livestock present.
You will need to book on to attend this walk using the eventbrite link above.
