Low level walk (one wooden gate to climb over)
A lovely circular walk from West Linton up the Lyne valley, following well defined tracks past Windy Gowl, the glacial meltwater channel, then cutting left in front of Baddinsgill House to access the quiet road from Baddinsgill to West Linton. We finish by passing Lynedale House and taking the ‘Catwalk’ back to West Linton.
Details: Take the 101A Houstons coach, which leaves Edinburgh bus station at 9.25 and arrives at the Gordon Arms, West Linton at 10.17. Meet at the seat on the A702 next to the Gordon Arms, ready to start the walk at 10.30. We will either get the 13.16 or the 14.16 bus back to Edinburgh.
