Overview

A moderate 10 mile walk, starting at the Wiltshire village of Maiden Bradley, heading west round Mapperton Hill and then north through the deserted medieval village of Yarnefield. We then take a wide track with fine views through woodland to reach Druly Hill Farm where we enter the Stourhead Estate. A bridleway takes us to the village of Kilmington from where clear paths and quiet country lanes take us back to Mapperton Hill and Maiden Bradley.
