Overview

A winter walk from Maidwell on good, often surfaced, paths with very few stiles.

For most of the morning we will follow the Macmillan Way towards the outskirts of Cottesbrooke before returning to Maidwell via a lengthy section of the dismantled Northampton and Market Harborough Railway.

Park and meet at the Draughton Crossing Car Park on the Brampton Valley Way. The car park is just off Draughton Road to the east of Maidwell. Sat Nav users, please be aware that the nearest postcode will not take you all the way to the car park.
