Overview

This walk starts from Swinyard car park on Castlemorton Common (£5.50 by card according to https://www.malvernhills.org.uk/visiting/parking/) and heads up and along the ridge of the Malvern Hills, starting at Swinyard Hill and finishing at the Worcestershire Beacon, where we turn around and head back (skirting the side of the hills this time).  The route summits the following hills, each of which involves a noticeable climb: Swinyard Hill, Hangmans Hill, Millenium Hill, The Herefordshire Beacon, Black Hill, Pinnacle Hill, Perseverance Hill, Summer Hill and the Worcestershire Beacon.  On a clear day, there are stunning views along the ridge and over the surrounding landscape.  The route also includes 4 toilet stops (2 visited twice) and an ice-cream / coffee stop.
