In the morning, we pass through Bovingdon Green and join the Chiltern Way for an easy climb of 368 feet through Davenport Wood and then Homefield & Heath Woods. Then down to Hambleden for either a picnic lunch, with food and hot/cold drinks available at the local store, or refreshments at the Stag & Huntsman pub. There are toilets in the pub or the village hall.
In the afternoon, a climb up the same hill, but not so high, only 217 feet. We go through the same woods in reverse order, using different paths, back to Marlow.
NB. There are no toilets at Marlow station, but we pass a park with public toilets.

Hourly return trains from Marlow at 29 minutes past the hour.
