An enjoyable walk from Marros Church car park across open fields with some dramatic views along a scenic route. The path drops down from Marros Mountain through a wooded valley past an old water mill. This leads to open fields with views out to sea (a good spot for lunch) and down to the Welsh coast footpath.
The final stretch of the walk takes us up along the edge of farmland onto a little used road and back to our cars.
There is the potential for mud in a number of places, please wear appropriate clothes and boots.
There are several stiles, one at the bottom of the field may well be very slippery, and there is one tricky drop on the path from the old mill.
There may cows and sheep on the open fields, plus a pig or two.
Sorry, definitely not suitable for dogs.
Please check the walks programme the afternoon before the walk for any changes.
