Overview

The route will be Marsden, Tunnel End, Slaithwaite Moor, Scammonden Reservoir, Worts Hill, Merry Dale, Cop Hill, then a steep descent to the Huddersfield Canal and the tow path back to Marsden. The walk is mainly on good paths and tracks. Note there is 1500ft of ascent and there are a couple of steep ascents and descents.
