A walk with stops and commentary from King's Cross station to Euston station via Great Ormond Street and Tavistock Square. We'll visit a square that once had seven hospitals, see the site of the first medical school for women, one of the first ambulance stations in London and one of the leading children's hospitals in the world. Stop for coffee. No lunch stop - plenty of options around Euston/King's Cross stations at the end of the walk.
In the afternoon walkers could visit The Crick Institute exhibition (free), The Wellcome Collection (free) or the Foundling Museum (approx £12/£10 for concessions/free for Art Pass holders).
Maximum 20 walkers. Please book with leader by text/phone on 07899 798298.
