A nine mile circular walk from Meopham Green taking in Ridley, Stansted and Hodsoll Street. Mixture of open meadows, woodland, villages, quiet lanes and a fair number of hills but spectacular views across to the Thames Estuary in places! There are several stiles but mostly kissing gates on this walk. Lunch stop will be at the halfway point in Stansted where it may be possible to grab a drink at the Black Horse or a picnic lunch in the park (weather permitting) Approx. finish time will be between 2.30 & 3pm.
Terrain: Open meadows, woodland, quiet lanes, several hills.
Meet and park around Meopham Green, off Wrotham Road and Steele's Lane. Alternatively there is a small road opposite the green. Ensure you park considerately if using the side road. Nearest Post Code: DA13 0QA.
