Step into the beauty of Norfolk with this 5.4-mile walk that celebrates the arrival of spring, showcasing the stunning daffodils in full bloom around Merton Hall. Starting from the Old Merton Village Hall, this scenic route will lead you through the picturesque village of Merton, offering captivating views of fields and hedgerows as you make your way to Merton Hall, known for its vibrant displays of daffodils in the spring.

From the church you will view Merton Hall and the surrounding areas, you'll be immersed in a sea of yellow and white as the daffodils create a striking contrast against the lush green landscape. The fragrance and colours of the flowers add a sense of joy and tranquility to the walk, making it an unforgettable springtime experience.

On your return journey, the route follows part of the historic Peddars Way, one of Norfolk’s most famous trails. The well-trodden path meanders through scenic farmland and quiet lanes, providing a peaceful conclusion to your walk, with ample opportunities to appreciate the natural beauty of the area.
