The walk starts in the historic town of Minchinhampton and takes us through fields and quiet lanes and down to the village of Avening. A chance to see snowdrops at Cherington. Return via the picturesque village of Box. The possibility refreshment in the Queen's Head afterwards.
Food: Bring a packed lunch and something to sit on.
Membership Details: This walk is organized by Ramblers and is free to join. Consider becoming a member after a few enjoyable walks with us. Membership gives you access to a wide range of walks across the UK, provides assistance with outdoor activity skills, and helps keep public footpaths open.
Attire and Footwear: Dress appropriately for the weather. Sturdy walking boots are highly recommended. Walking poles may be useful for the steeper sections.
Pets Policy: Dogs are not permitted on this walk, except for registered assistance dogs.
Booking: We encourage people to book onto walks via our Meetup site (free to join). This helps walk leaders know how many walkers to expect, and enables rapid communication if plans change.
