Overview

The final outing for this year's Mountain Fitness series - this almost-circular walk takes us from the outskirts of Eastbourne, up onto the downs with several undulations before passing the Long Man of Wilmington and an early lunch in the pretty village of Alfriston. From there it's back up through Friston forest. You may catch a view of a horse, but today we'll be turning left to find our finale on the Seven Sisters.

A long walk taken at a fast pace, with a total ascent of 1000m.

Bring a packed lunch and plenty of water and snacks.
