Overview

Starting from the Mow Cop folly castle on lanes, towpath and field paths - muddy in places and with numerous stiles. Taking in a brief visit to Little Moreton Hall, a timbered Elizabethan house virtually unaltered by time and now a National Trust property. One long steady climb returns us to Mow Cop on this circular route.
