We are the Castle Bromwich Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
Our walk will take us from this picturesque little town through fields and woods in the Shropshire countryside. It will include some fine views, including of the Wrekin and Clee Hills, as well as taking us past the site of a ruined priory.
Once out of the town we will follow a former railway line, tracks, lanes and field and woodland paths. It is undulating in parts.
Toilets at the start, othersise rural.
We will have the opportunity to relax in a local pub after the walk.
Much Wenlock was the location of the Olympian Games held in the 19th Century, which led to the re-establishment of the international Olympic Games in 1896.
