We will begin this walk from " The Museum of Scottish Country Life" in East Kilbride. From the museum we head off in a North West direction towards Carmunnock and a delightful setting for a coffee stop. Then on towards Rogerton in a South East direction before turning back towards the museum. The vast majority of this walk is on minor roads, that proved to be quiet during a mid week recce. There is a little elevation gained with good views as a result.
This walk is easily accomplished in less than three hours, so the intention would be to have lunch back at the start, where you will have the option of consuming your packed lunch or making use of a very good cafeteria at the museum.
