We will meet at the rear of Lidl’s Car park to share cars to a disused quarry off the Baran Road.
Please note, limited parking, so do not go directly there, meet at Lidl’s.
This will be a stunning walk across Mynydd Carnllechart and Bryn Mawr with beautiful mountain views in all directions.
We shall visit the Mesolithic stone circle of Carn Llechart then Capel Baran where we can enjoy our flasks of coffee!
This will be followed by a gentle climb to the top of Bryn Mawr for lunch.
The final section will be a descent to the cars.
Social after walk:
Afterwards, we will go for refreshments to The Gwachel.
Directions:
Head north on A4067 to Pontardawe.
At Tesco Roundabout, take 2nd exit into Pontardawe
At next roundabout, take 2nd exit onto A474.
At next roundabout, take 1st exit into retail park.
Turn left into Lidl’s Car Park and park at rear.
