Overview

Hello Everyone

First things first. As this is our first event of 2025 we'd like to take the opportunity to wish all of our members, friends, fellow Ramblers, and our Facebook followers a Happy, Healthy, & Prosperous New Year. Thank you for your valued support!

Following on from twelve months ago we're opening 2025 with a short local walk around the Chasewater area but slightly different from last time. Approximately five miles worth, flat with just one short climb, and with a later 12.15 start to give NYE revellers a little more recovery time🥴.

We'll take just one break around half distance during this walk. Expect some muddy stretches.

Why not join us? You're welcome to do so. Being a relatively short distance this walk represents a great opportunity to try us out.

Registration: 12.00. Walk start: 12.15.  Walk leader: Barry C (07811 141484)

Loo's after about a mile or so into the walk.

Afterwards the majority of us will be diving into The Uxbridge Arms just down the road with its huge range of draught ales, or coffee if you prefer. It's New Years Day after all!

Our own members should note that there isn't any rendezvous at Hednesford for this walk. Please go direct to the start. Thank you.
