Circular walk, mostly exploring the northern side of the North Downs below Newlands Corner where there are many old yew trees, some dating back to the Middle Ages.

After a start along the south side from Newlands, with fantastic views on a clear day, we will cross to the northern side with its varied types of woodland and come back along the North Downs Way. I suggest walking poles might be appropriate.
