Overview

A circular walk planned to introduce some of North Bedford’s lesser-known history, following the route of Victorian carriages to Clapham Park before turning back towards Bedford. We will walk through a community orchard and learn a little about a Victorian botanist breeding new varieties of peas and apples in Bedford. We then follow a short stretch of the John Bunyan Way into Bedford’s historical Victorian cemetery and back to the start point.
