Fourth in a series of linear walks - travelling from the northernmost point in Surrey (at the top of Wraysbury reservoir) to the southernmost point (on the slopes of Blackdown).
10:43 from Witley gets into Farncombe at 10:54, so that's why it's an 11:00 start. If you don't get that, you'll need to get back to Farncombe at the end. We're meeting out the front on the North side of the station. Not the South side.
So, we're finishing up this journey with two shorter sections, rather than one longer one. Because I don't hate everyone. From Farncombe station we'll head back out and across the Llamas Lands, before heading cross country to Winkworth Arboretum. We'll head in along the public footpath that crosses the arboretum, and out past the entrance. As always, gives a handy break for refreshments. That's followed by Hydon's Ball, or as we'll be calling it 'lunch'.
Drop down to the Merry Harriers in Hambledon for a drink, and then over to Witley station.
Other notes:
- We've provided an automated estimate of the end time and this will be affected by many factors - please only use as a guide. The description above may also have specific notes on ending details.
- If not mentioned in the walk description, the given ending point will be based on the nearest train station or other obvious central landmark, and might not be exactly where the walk actually ends.
