We are the West London Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
Moderate walk through a number of green spaces (Grove Farm, Horsenden Farm and Perivale Wood) and along a short section of the Grand Union Canal (Paddington Branch) tow path. Mostly good walking paths (some may be overgrown) and some short sections of pavement. Will be some short stops along the way to enjoy the view, Horsenden Hill is one of the high spots in the area. Lunch stop will be at Horsenden Farm where there may be limited refreshments so bring a packed lunch. Toilets at Northolt station and Horsenden Farm. Opportunity to drop out early, if needed, at Sudbury Hill and Perivale Underground Stations.
We are expecting that the Horsenden Loaf (bakery) and Perivale Brewery will be open, but there may be limited choice so please bring your own packed lunch.
The walk finishes at Pitshanger Lane where there is a choice of buses (E2, E9 (and within a few minutes walk E7, E10, 297) towards Ealing Broadway, (Greenford) or Wembley directions).
