Overview

A coastal walk along a wild and rugged stretch of the coast path in northwestern Devon. We start at the Hartland Quay Hotel and walk northwards as far as Hartland Point, with some steep climbs along the way, and the option of walking out to Damehole Point and back.
We then head back southwards on an inland route. Depending on how fast we walk and how much daylight we have left we will cut back to the coast path either at Elmscott or at Docton Mill. The final part of the walk will again be on the coast path, visiting the impressive Speke's Mill Mouth waterfall. On the way back to the hotel there is also the option to tackle the steep climb onto St Catherine's Tor.
