Overview

A moderate 5 mile walk up through beautiful woods to the Camp - a large Iron Age hill fort whose double ramparts are still visible in parts. There is respite on the climb up to the camp with a couple of sections along the contours rather than across them. The views are spectacular.

Poles advisable. Muddy in parts with possibility of some shallow surface water.
