Overview

The walk starts by crossing Racehorse Common on the way to Criagnant, continuing to Castle Mill and on to Chirk Castle which has been in view across the Ceiriog valley. After the castle the trail meets the Llangollen Canal and crosses the historic Pontcysyllte Aqueduct (There is another option for those who don't like heights!) to Trevor Basin.
