We are the Mid Staffordshire Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
A walk taking in four dales in beautiful countryside beginning from Over Haddon, Derbyshire. On this route we walk Lathkilldale and Bradford Dale before walking to Youlgreave. From then we make our way south where, if the weather is dry, we walk along Gratton Dale then Long Dale. An alternative route is planned if there has been a lot of rain and in that case Gratton Dale will be missed out and we will walk to Elton before continuing along Long Dale. From there both walks continue north back to Over Haddon. Although quite a long walk there are no challenging hills.
There will be a coffee stop and a lunch stop so bring along your own refreshments.
Park at the public car park in Over Haddon. There is a full day payment of £6.40. Car sharing would be a good option in this respect. There are toilets at the start.
