We are the Oxford Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
A largely off-road route around the green spaces and waterways of Headington. It will include historic Cuckoo Lane, Headington Hill Hall , the Boundary Brook wildlife corridor, a brief look at Warneford Meadow, then Lye Valley and Rock Edge both of which are SSSIs. It could be muddy in places.
A buffet lunch will be provided at the pub from 12pm. Please contact oxford.ramblers@gmail.com before 30 October if you intend to attend, for catering purposes.
This walk and lunch precedes the Oxford Group AGM which will be held at the Black Boy Public House, Old High Street at 1pm.
