Overview

Area long walk.

The walk will start by going through the village along Tan House Lane. Across Lancaster Lane and then the footpath along the side of the Primary School to Stoney Lane and then to Hunters Hill to hopefully enjoy the view. Onto Bannister Lane and down to Jackson's Lane and  along the track at side of Harrock Lodge and up the footpath to Harrock Hill with its disused Windmill. Down to Coopers Lane and right onto a footpath to take us to Hill House Lane. Then over the wall onto the footpath to the bungalow Green Acres, then the footpath to Harrock Lane and onto High Moor Lane. Then on a footpath to Fairy Glen. Through Fairy Glen and onto a footpath to Wood Lane. Left off Wood lane over the railway, canal and River Douglas to Lees Lane. Up hill from Lees Lane then  along the side of the Hill and down to Hillock House. Along the footpath to Dungeon Lane. Down Dungeon Lane to Prescott's Farm and along the footpath back across the River Douglas. Then left on the footpath to Bradshaw Lane. Cross the road past the Stocks and then the Windmill Inn and the Cafe opposite to the Railway Station.
