Overview

Starting from the Motte and Bailey carpark in Pulverbatch, walkers will ascend Huglith hill where they will be rewarded with wonderful views of the surrounding rolling countryside.  After the descent to reach the Gatten valley and a stretch of tarmac walking on a quiet country lane, we'll eventually skirt Paulith hill before ascending again to return to Pulverbatch.   Please note that the walk will be muddy in places and gaiters and poles are recommended.
