We are the Biggar Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
On this walk (8.5 miles) there are magnificent views along the way - so we will take our time to enjoy the views. We'll start the walk from the car park on Edinburgh Road, at 10am. After a short walk along the A703, we'll go up towards Lady's Wood, just below Ven Law Hill. We'll continue our walk around Whitfold Hill (377m) and up to Collie Law (424m).
We then walk down towards the A703 and continue to Kidston Bank Wood where we'll see Cringletie House which has a great history. The walk will finish in the car park. After the walk, there will be non-alcoholic mulled wine and waffles.
There are lots of ups and downs over undulating ground, so hiking boots and sticks are recommended.
