Overview

Enjoy this wonderful 7 mile walk along part of the Anglesey Coastal Path and through beautiful scenery in this special corner of Anglesey. Your leader Sue will take you to Lleiniog Castle and down to Trwyn Du (Penmon point) for views of Puffin Island and the mountains of Snowdonia. You will visit the historic buildings at Penmon Priory, including the fascinating dove cote and Seiriol`s well.

The paths on this walk are reasonably good but there will be muddy sections and there will be a little walking on very quiet lanes. Some sections will be tide dependent. 

We will have lunch in the small cafe near Penmon lighthouse. Here there is a very pleasant outdoor seating area where you can have the food you have brought provided you make a purchase in the cafe. There are also customer toilets here.

This is walk is not suitable for dogs.

The No. 58 bus from Bangor has a stop at the start point and the 08:45 departure from Bangor bus station arrives at 09:53.
