We are the Mortimer Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
A re-run of this walk from 2023 which was concealed throughout by fog. Cross the main road but straight on to tracks etc with a long ascent for about 20mins and about 400ft. Then along the top to reach Rough Leath Wood (owned by the Duchy of Cornwall) and on to Bank House continuing past Hill Farm and into Rushen Wood before turning west with a short climb to set for home. Onwards through Birchypark and Ton Woods moving downwards past Wellbrook Manor and across the top of some horse fields to descend the short first track we started on. A few stiles but mainly farmland and tracks.
