A moderate to brisk paced walk led by Thomas G (Mobile No: 07775 676092) from Blackheath to Deptford joint with Kensington, Chelsea & Westminster Group. Up to 13 miles but with many drop-out points along the way. Urban walking entirely on hard surfaces....no mud! Map: E162/161, London A-Z.
Route: Blackheath Cator Estate, then Blackheath, across railway line to Lee Green, Lee Manor Park and Lee Manor Farm Park (River Quaggy), Hither Green, Mountsfield Park, into the Ravensbourne Valley, Lewisham Park, Ladywell Park, Blythe Hill (first of the Brockley Three Peaks), Honor Oak Park, One Tree Hill, Camberwell New Cemetery, Crofton Park, Brockley and Ladywell Cemeteries, Hilly Fields, Brockley, Telegraph Hill, Hatcham/New Cross Gate, Fordham Park, Deptford.
*Drop-outs: for Rail or Overground stations at Hither Green, Ladywell, Catford stations, Honor Oak Park, Crofton Park, Brockley, Nunhead, New Cross Gate.
Lunch: bring food (park benches with views) but many pubs and cafes en route for a drink or loo stop.

Blackheath Station (Zone 3 - Southeastern train from Cannon Street at 10:15 (Bexleyheath service), calling at London Bridge at 10:20 and arriving Blackheath at 10:35 OR train from Victoria at 10:03 via Denmasrk Hill (Gravesend service) which arrives Blackheath at 10:30)
