Overview

A moderate to brisk paced walk joint with Kensington, Chelsea & Westminster Group led by Thomas G (Mobile No: 07775 676092) of about 4.5 hours walking. 

Route: The Grand Union Canal to Cow Roast Lock, ascent to Tom's Hill, the Ashridge Estate with Aldbury Common, Ashridge Park, the Golden Valley, Frithsden Copses and Berkhamsted Common, Berkhamsted Hill, descent to canalside pub ('The Crystal Palace') and Berkhamsted Station.

Lunch stop at pub for refreshments at either 'The Bridgewater Arms' in Little Gaddesden or 'The Alford Arms', Frithsden.
